Kerry McMenamin is the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Manager at Target Ovarian Cancer. She launched the first legacy strategy for the organisation in 2018 and has firsthand experience of the challenges and opportunities of setting up legacies from scratch. Kerry has worked in fundraising for over ten years, her first roles involved setting up and developing community fundraising programmes at RSBC (The Royal Society for Blind Children), Church Urban Fund and Unicef UK. In 2016 she took a secondment role as Legacy Marketing Manager at Unicef UK, managing their warm prospecting and stewardship programmes as well as leading on an internal engagement strategy. It was this role that sparked a passion for legacy fundraising and changed the direction of Kerry’s fundraising career.
